Masters at work: Building viola da gamba

Master luthier Judith Kraft will be working live alongside her trainee Mathieu Pradels in the Cenacolo room, demonstrating how to build viola da gambas, including the body of a small treble viol and the belly of a bass viol. Mathieu trained with Judith for several years, under the auspices of the French Savoir-Faire Institute, and now they build viols as a duo, alongside their individual projects.
