German florist Gregor Lersch was born into a “green” family and became the fifth generation to train as a horticulturalist. Following his initial training as a horticulturalist, he shifted his focus to floral design and then to floral styling, finally turning to teaching and to competing nationally and internationally. His works range from minimalistic creations and displays to monumental installations, featuring thousands of flowers. As well as creation, he chooses to dedicate much of his time to the many aspects of floristry teaching. Over the past 30 years, he has published over 30 books dedicated to the art of floral design.
