Fanny Boucher

Dust grain photogravure is a printing process developed in the 19th century that subtly combines photography with intaglio engraving. Since 2000, Master of Art Fanny Boucher has been commissioned to create prints and photogravured artists' books, by adapting her techniques to the needs of the artists for whom she creates the engravings and prints. Since 2020, she has expanded her savoir-faire to include the field of design and luxury. The finely engraved metal, which bears an almost imperceptible motif, is characteristic of her work, as is the use of innovative printed supports such as leather, parchment and fabrics. In her various creations, dry, polished, patinated, steel-coated and gilded copper all come to life in pieces of furniture, mural compositions and lights. Fanny experiments with her traditional savoir-faire and explores its limits, creating a rich and precious dialogue with designers and interior designers.
