Arboris

This Totem wall composition is made up of 49 copper matrixes which have each been photo-engraved, inked and waxed. There are also 23 photogravures, printed with black ink on Awagami Mingeishi paper – dark blue laid on copper. All of these 72 elements have been assembled and stuck on 3–4cm deep cleats which are screwed into a wooden panel, itself painted in black and varnished.
