The son of a restorer, Maurizio Betti continues the family tradition of craftsmanship, however, he has carved out a niche all for himself. In his small carpentry workshop, he houses tools of restoration and decoration, and it is from here that he creates aviaries for birds and kennels for dogs or cats. His father restored art and buildings in the beautiful town of Rimini, Italy, it was here, from the age of 14, that he learned many trades. Today, together with his partner, Loredana Cangini, they seek to constantly refine the techniques of plaster processing and pictorial decoration used by great masters of the past. His passion for ornithology is equally long-lived and started when he spent long afternoons watching the birds with his gardener grandfather, who took him to the villas where he worked.
