Émilie Moutard-Martin

Featherworker

Light, time and movement permeate Émilie Moutard-Martin's feather art and her abstract compositions. Émilie became known for her sense of detail, her meticulous, discreet and observant approach to materials, which allows her to create exquisite miniature compositions. The iridescence and reflection of natural materials invite the viewer to contemplate the preciousness of nature's elements beyond their apparent simplicity. The originality of her skills, such as gilding feathers with gold leaf, has been noticed by great maisons; the artisan has created pieces for Boucheron, Piaget, Montblanc and Davidoff.
