Centro Ceramico Talavera, the brainchild of three risky ceramic graduates – Juan Carlos Albarrán Montealegre, Ana Fernández Pecci and Ramón González Colilla – opened its doors in 1992. It is dedicated to ceramic culture: manufacturing, restoring, teaching and research. Their mission is to respect the techniques of their ancestors in the field of Talavera ceramics, painting by hand as the ceramic masters of the 16th century did. A huge number of varied projects have passed through the studio, such as tile panels, fountains, crockery, collectables, trophies, decorative objects, the list goes on. They have received numerous awards for the quality of their work and have set a benchmark in today's ceramic production for combining tradition and innovation.
