The layers of off white silk charmeuse in this dress represent the overlapping sheets of paper. The dress is a remade version of the 1959 short dress made according to the original paper patterns under the direction of Roberto Capucci. It is part of a line of 10 garments presented in Florence, at the Palazzo Pitti Sala Bianca, for the spring-summer 1959 collection.
