The cone is made of cast glass, with a series of thin glass strings and empty space inside. Two thin metal discs encase the base of the glass cone and the metal mesh. Inspiration came from the realms of philosophy and nature: the mysterious origins of glass and the diversity of natural glass that exists in nature. The magical way ideas come to us – like meteorites – is encapsulated in this abstract object.
