This work is inspired by the natural world and defined as contemporary baroque. Each texture comes from a different visual source. The main body represents a chrysanthemum petal, the lid evokes a sunflower, and the pommel, a thistle. The unique texture is made up of hand worked borosilicate glass, using over 2,000 components, individually UV bonded to blown vessel, using 24-kt gilded gold leaf.
