This set consists of a square tray, long spoon, sugar cup with lid and saucer, each hand hammered from a single sheet of 925 silver.
Practising an ancient craft passed down from generation to generation, Victor Clopotar is a Roma artisan from Transylvania, Romania. He has been working in metal for decades, and he is today one of the last representatives of his community to carry on the tradition of copper craftsmanship. Day after day, Victor works in his workshop together with his son, forging objects such as trays, pitchers, coffee pots and stills. He considers imagination, including the ability to visualise the finished object right from the beginning, and patience to be essential qualities in his work. Through collaboration with international designers, his creations have been admired over the years at renowned exhibitions and events taking place in different corners of the world.
