Sandrine Tessier is a graduate of the Haute École de Joaillerie in Paris. She received the prestigious title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2019. Since the day she was born, she has been immersed in a world of jewellery, gold, precious stones and artistic enamel. She learned everything she knows about enamelling from her grandmother and her mother, and she acquired her jewellery skills from her grandfather. This magical and colourful universe has always fascinated her and it was natural that this passion became her way of life. Her audacious and innovative creations combine metals, precious stones and enamel. Today, she is one of the rare craftswomen to master many enamelling and jewellery techniques, which enables her to create exceptional pieces interpreting the personal wishes of her clients.

Light passes through the Poppy earrings, made of rose gold, thanks to a set of cut-outs in the metal enhanced with plique-à-jour enamel in shades of pink. The entire edge is set with spinels, sapphires, and rubies. On the inside profile a line of black diamonds is set, and on the outside some chocolate diamonds.

The Zibeline ring features a magnificent 16mm pearl from Australia, white gold metal petals entirely set with white diamonds, a drop of diamond and drops of opals and opalescent enamel.

The creation of this piece is nearly as strenuous as the fierce fight between the sea monster and the samurai. Hours of work and several techniques including cloisonné, pure gold and silver paillon, under and over enamel paintings, and more than 30 firings at over 750 degree celsius were necessary to make this piece.
