Martin Deggelmann has dedicated his entire life to the manual formation of sheet metal. After completing his master's in car body manufacturing, he wanted to work abroad to continue learning from his role models, who were above all the masters of Italian and English bodywork. At the beginning of the 1990s, he was able to train in Switzerland with a Ferrari restorer, and over the years, he visited many countries and met many other companies.
Today his workshop Martelleria specialises in the design and implementation of classic car body restoration and in the creation of body prototypes for the automotive industry. By combining traditional craftsmanship in sheet metal working with modern cad technology and 3-D printing, Deggelmann creates extraordinary projects, and his work is in high demand among internationally known architects, designers and artists. With a handmade object, he is able to achieve dimensions and shapes that meet individual customer wishes and design ideas.
