What materials do you work with?
I love to explore and convert different materials into jewellery. I regularly work with many materials: gold and silver, titanium, stainless steel and also synthetic materials such as perbunan. I also made a collection from hardened cotton and from glass.
Is the collection made of glass wearable?
It's rather an art collection made for an exhibition in New York. I chose materials that traditionally represent the Czech Republic – glass and garnet. However, most of my jewellery is designed to be worn, often by myself. It's always me who tests the pieces in person.

Is this personal aspect crucial to you?
I like the intimacy of jewellery. I studied product design, and I keep working in this field as well as doing interior design. But jewellery is a matter of the heart. And it's great to see the results right away, try them immediately, make and wear.
Who are your main clients?
People who love simple, functional things with deeper meanings. They are fond of minimalistic details, unpompous originality and appreciate the materials. I'm my own client too, I enjoy the freedom to make things to please myself, as well as others.
