Inaugurated in 1992, the shop of the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, created by the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection Foundation, produces its own line of exclusive items in collaboration with the best craftspeople and designers. In this way the shop contributes to the financial support of the museum and its activities. The products are inspired by works of art from the museum's permanent collection and temporary exhibitions. This dialogue between contemporary creation, craftsmanship, design and art is rooted in values such as sustainability, public service, the promotion and dissemination of art, and classical and contemporary creation. Among the master artisans whose work has been available in the shop are Taller Kuú, Miandku, Taller Silvestre, Helena Rohner, Federico Antelo, Andrés Gallardo, Vajillas de Ultramar, Elisa Venegas, Paloma Canivet, Eleonora Guidotti, and Candela Cort.
