Curating a glass exhibition for Kunstforum Würth in 2011, art historian Sue Schiepers discovered her passion. As she got to know some extraordinary Belgian glass artists, and ascertained the lack of a dedicated Belgian gallery, she decided to open one herself in 2017. Ever since, she has strived to make the versatility of glass art better known. Her gallery is located in Hasselt, attracting glass lovers from Belgium, as well as from neighbouring countries. Besides Belgian artists such as Christine Vanoppen and Giampoalo Amoruso, Schiepers also represents renowned international artists such as Kait Rhoads, Michael Behrens and Baldwin & Guggisberg.
