Dedicated to Sicilian arts and crafts

SACCA Contenitore di sicilianità is a gallery located in Pozzallo, a seaside town close to Ragusa, in Sicily. The word “sacca” in Italian means “bag”, but it’s also an acronym for Sicilia, arte, cultura, cucina and artigianato (Sicily, art, cuisine, culture and craftsmanship). Giovanni Scucces, the founder and artistic director, with the name SACCA wished to underline the local character of his gallery: here, you can find paintings and works made by Sicilian artisans and ateliers. Here you can buy vases, lamps, kitchen items, trays, decorative objects and jewellery, all made by established craftspeople as well as rising stars. If you can’t go to SACCA, it comes to you: there’s also an e-commerce that sells all its products.
