Pure Latvian creativity

Pienene was founded in 2011. The studio was created with a dual purpose, both to gather together Latvian products and to have a cosy place to meet up and relax after shopping. Over the years, the design studio has gradually expanded and now also hosts their own brand, Pienene, which produces product lines of home textiles, clothing and accessories. The studio, as well as the brand itself, was inspired by Latvian nature – forests, meadows and the sea. This ideology is present everywhere in the interior – from local wood furniture to pastel colours, and dandelion drawings on the walls. It is actually the dandelion that has been chosen as a symbol of the country’s pure nature, no surprise then that "pienene" is the Latvian translation of dandelion.
