Oskar Kogoj is a renowned Slovenian designer. On the premises of his mother’s birth house in Miren, in the southwest of Slovenia, he opened a sales and exhibition gallery back in 1998. The gallery features an extensive collection of the products he designed. Today, it is run by his daughters. The gallery features a number of rooms, with each one presenting a new world, unveiling Slovenian heritage and beyond. His extensive œuvre is based on lifelong research of history and nature and its miraculous (re-)creation. You will find porcelain, ceramics, glass, wood, metal, bronze and stone objects here, all designed by Oskar and made by Slovenian craftspeople.
