The finest of Finland

Since 2012, Lokal founder Katja Hagelstam's mission has been to bring together the finest Finnish masters, such as Matias Liimatainen and Nathalie Lautenbacher, and present their work in her gallery in the heart of Helsinki. Currently, Lokal is home to exclusive pieces by over 27 master artisans, designers and artists. The shop has two rooms, with one space reserved for exhibitions. Lokal received the Finnish Design Deed Award in 2015 and the Finnish State Design Award in 2017. The shop welcomes visitors to explore its selection of fine, locally crafted and timeless objects along with art pieces designed for everyday life.
