Inaugurated in December 2012, the Maison des Métiers d'Art de Pézenas crafts shop and exhibition space is housed in a 17th-century building classified as a historical monument. Unique pieces and limited series of tableware, jewellery, fashion, furniture, decorative objects and sculptures handmade by around two hundred craftspeople can be found here. Pézenas has a thousand-year-old tradition of exceptional craftspeople and by designing this space, the Ateliers d'Art de France in partnership with the City of Pézenas and the Hérault-Méditerranée Urban Community confirmed the city as a cultural and heritage destination in France.
