Celebrating Dutch Delftware

Heinen Delfts Blauw De Munt Amsterdam is regarded as the flagship of six shop scattered across the Netherlands. First opened in 2006, and renovated by Freyr Architecten in 2012, the flagship shop is nestled in the monumental medieval city gate, Munttoren, right next to the flower market in Amsterdam. The shop carries its house brand, alongside delicate works from other Delftware companies, such as Koninklijke Tichelaar Makkum and De Porceleyne Fles. Aside from its historical location, it is worth a visit just to view its ‘crown jewel’: the largest Delft blue vase of The Netherlands. Additionally, here you can attend the 'Paint your own Delft Blue tile’ workshop, allowing you to enjoy Delftware in a more holistic manner.
