The permanent exhibition Hands and Magic in Leather is composed of objects of different origins, related to leather goods from Ubrique, both machines and pieces manufactured in Ubrique throughout history. It was created in 2003 by Maribel Lobato Fuentes, who, after attending a course on urban ecology, found that part of the waste discarded by the leather goods industry were objects telling the history of Ubrique. For twelve years, Maribel Lobato has collected materials by her means and also through donations from companies in the leather industry. Ubrique is located in the mountains of Cadiz in Andalusia, Spain.

Hands and Magic in Leather is not only a walk through the history of leather goods since its beginnings, but it is also part of the ethnographic heritage of the town, thus enriching the cultural heritage of Andalusia. The best stimulus of the museum is to take visitors closer to the world of leather. This exhibition has the Integral System of Spanish Tourist Quality in Destinations (SICTED) and the Q for Tourist Quality.
