An art centre comprising a gallery, design shop and a bistro, Gumbostrand Konst & Form was founded in 2012. The centre is located a 30-minute drive from Helsinki by the sea in the beautiful surroundings of an old soda factory. Gumbostrand Konst & Form showcases the very best of Finnish modern art. Past exhibitions include an interesting collection of paintings, sculptures, glass art, graphics and photos. The exhibition changes seven times during the year and also includes works from up-and-coming artists. In the summer, you can also enjoy the Finnish archipelago on the way as it is possible to hire a boat to Gumbostrand either from Helsinki or Porvoo. The gallery has an online shop from where you can buy art works from the artists showcased at the gallery.
