Promoting jewellery as an art form

Found in the heart of Paris, gallery LA Joaillerie par Mazlo showcases bespoke author jewellery from artisans from around the globe. Founded in 2010 by jeweller and goldsmith Robert Mazlo, the gallery has a mission to redefine the vocation and revive the value of jewellery as a work of art. The gallery acts as the exhibition venue for the Robert Mazlo Endowment Fund for Art and Contemporary Art Jewellery, and organises thematic exhibitions, each with an element of surprise. Instead of display shelves, jewellery pieces can be found in magician’s boxes or seen through magnifying lenses – an idea by Robert Mazlo and designer Nicolas Gaudin to make each installation unexpected and unique.
