Ex-silversmith Joke Doedens and ceramicist Simone Haak founded the gallery in 1986 with a simple and earnest purpose: to present a comprehensive range of contemporary ceramics, varying from autonomous artworks to functional design, in the historic centre of the city of Delft. The gallery host temporary exhibitions and a permanent display of the artworks of renowned Dutch and international ceramicists, including Anne-Soline Barbaux, Wim Borst and Takeko Sugimoto. Visitors can also find little gifts, such as Facecups shaped by Ines de Booij, and China Cloud rings moulded by Qui Yiping. A sense of versatility is reflected by the broad price spectrum.
