A hub for Brittany's creatives

Located in rural Brittany, in West France, the MICA Gallery stands out for its philosophy and rural anchoring. Founded in 2001 by Michaël Cheneau, the gallery is a project aiming to foster collaboration between designers, artists and craftspeople to highlight the diversity of crafts in the region. Some thirty artists including Pierre Charrié, Matali Crasset and Sam Baron have agreed to a set of values collaborators must adhere to. This unique research and development methodology involves master craftspeople to deliver poetic, playful or sensorial contemporary objects, at the crossroads between the aesthetics of use and visual ecology. Payment options include short-term and long-term rentals.
