The Fish & Olive – Art of the Aegean is a fine craft gallery located in Halki, a small village in the heights of Naxos. It was opened in 2006 by Niki Goulandris, a well-known Greek philanthropist and painter. The art space features exclusively the handcrafted ceramics and jewellery of Katharina Bolesch and Alexander Reichardt. The strong aesthetic of their objects converses with a collection of delicate etchings and watercolours by selected artists worldwide. Additionally, characteristic objects such as unique olive tree sculptures in metal and exquisite lights made with local marble are exhibited, underlining the Greek influence of the gallery.
