Design Museum Barcelona (Museu del Disseny de Barcelona) is a museum dedicated to the applied arts and design. It is located at the DHUb building in Plaça de les Glòries which was designed by MBM architecture firm. The museum was founded in 2014 from the merging of four important Barcelona museum collections: from the Museu de les Arts Decoratives, the Museu de Ceràmica, the Museu Tèxtil d’Indumentària and the Gabinete de les Arts Gràfiques.

The museum houses over 70,000 objects, which tell the stories of different epochs, civilizations and societies. The pieces on display date as far back as the 4th century AD up to the present day. In the vast collection, visitors can discover jewellery, fabrics, glassware, ceramics, furniture and more. The design section focuses on product, graphic, space and fashion design, and there is a library dedicated to these areas. The museum runs an immersive programme of activities from temporary exhibitions to guided tours and lectures to workshops.
