The best of Czech design

The balanced space of Czechdesign Shop offers a broad range of products created by both prominent and emerging Czech designers. Situated in the heart of Prague, it exhibits the pieces in their best light: jewellery stands out in the black-coated section, product design is set with a light background. The collection representing the work of 130 designer is carefully picked by a team of design experts led by Jana Vinšová. She heads the Czechdesign platform founded in 2003 to support local design, aiming to bring it closer to the public. The initiative soon became a reputable player on the design scene, performing multiple activities; the Czechdesign shop is one of them.
