Traditional Valencian jewellery

Delicacy, balance and elegance are some of the characteristics of the jewellery found in Art Antic, a store specialising in traditional Valencian jewellery. The shop is run by artisans Fernando Navarro and brothers José and David Alabadí. They make their pieces entirely by hand. In this way, their products are made crimp by crimp, stone by stone and pearl by pearl. Their designs are based on re-creations of antique jewellery, especially from the 18th and 19th centuries. Their jewellery is linked to the traditional festivities of Valencia, the Fallas. For the occasion they make an Aderezo which is composed of a brooch that adorns the costume of the Valencian women, earrings, a necklace, a bracelet and a set of hairpins and spikes that adorn the hairstyle.
