The Saint-Louis Crystal Museum, located in the heart of the Saint-Louis crystal factory, is one of the three exceptional museums dedicated to the art of glassblowing and crystal creation in the Northern Vosges region, together with the Lalique Museum and the Meisenthal glass factory. The Saint-Louis Crystal Museum hosts about 2,000 exceptional pieces, illustrating the four centuries of technical innovations and artistic creations of the Maison, which is part of the Hèrmes Group today.
The museum is named La Grande Place after the skilled glass team at the factory, which produces prestigious glass decorative ornaments, including impressive chandeliers. The museum building, designed by Lipsky + Roller, is architecturally striking, nestled in a case of light. Twenty films in three languages complete the visitor experience, while the last floor is dedicated to temporary exhibitions, organised in partnership with the Hermès Foundation, as well as emblematic pieces from the catalogue.
