Situated along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way in Connemara, Spiddal Craft Village faces the coastline, with beautiful views of the Burren and the Aran Islands. It is home to a wide range of artisan studios including glass by Sue Donnellan, basketmaking by Ciaran Hogan, ceramics by Rob D’Eath, weaving by Máíre Ní Thaidhg, paper and porcelain by Geraldine O’Rourke and jewellery by Eric Byrne. Visitors can wander from studio to studio, meet the makers and see them at work. This is a great location to find beautiful handmade Irish gifts and experience the Gaelic area of Galway, including Builín Blasta, the Irish speaking café on site.
