A platform for glass and ceramics

Galerie Marc Heiremans was founded in Ghent, Belgium, in 1986, as a platform for international contemporary glass and ceramics, and is now based in Antwerp. Over the years, the gallery has specialised in historic 20th century European art glass and one-off studio ceramics. An important focus became Murano glass, a field in which Marc Heiremans is an internationally acknowledged authority. As a member of the Belgian Chamber of Antiquarians and the Belgian Chamber of Art Experts he is consulted by museums and auction houses across the world. His personal research has resulted in several publications on the subject, and he has also curated various museum exhibitions.
