A window into an artisanal world

Opened in 1995 in a disused viaduct dating from the mid-19th century, Le Viaduc des Arts is a unique place owned by the city of Paris which houses craftsmen and women of excellence. Under the arches of the foliage-covered viaduct lie a number of workshops where more than 30 master artisans create unique works in the fields of fashion, jewellery, interior decoration, design and much more. A window into an artisanal world, the viaduct testifies to the quality of French savoir-faire and the passion, innovation and skill of contemporary artisans. The viaduct regularly participates in artistic events including JEMA and Paris Design Week.
