Galerie Latham was founded in 1981 by Lionel Latham. Specialised in the decorative arts of the 20th and 21st centuries, the gallery is located in the heart of the cultural and financial centre of Geneva. After having organised many historical thematic exhibitions, Lionel Latham started presenting contemporary Swiss creations, both furniture and objects. His knowledge of the history of decorative arts (Art Nouveau, Art Deco and design) allows him to detect truly innovative creators. Among the contemporary artisans presented by the gallery are Yves Boucard, Françoise Bolli, Jérôme Blanc and Barbara Amstutz. Since 2008 the gallery has published several catalogues to illustrate its exhibitions, including Memories of Objects, which featured pieces by contemporary artists coupled with older objects.
