Showcasing creative craftsmanship

In 1963, the first exhibition at Handwerksform Hanover opened its doors. Since then, the exhibition centre of the Hanover Chamber of Crafts has made a name for itself far beyond national borders. Every year, five themed exhibitions display works by national and international artisans with a focus on unique pieces and small series in various fields, including glass, gold and silver, wood, ceramics, metal, paper, stone and textiles. Parallel to the exhibitions, the centre offers guided tours, expert lectures and workshops in order to emphasise that creative craftsmanship is an integral part of culture and tradition.
