After 15 years as Director of Berlin's Museum of Things, Andreas Murkudis opened his first shop in Berlin Mitte in 2003. In 2011 it moved to the former print shop of the daily newspaper Tagesspiegel in Berlin Tiergarten. Today Andreas Murkudis's unique selection of items spreads over three different locations – Potsdamer Straße 81, 77, and 98 – where products of high quality and longevity are displayed in a museum-like atmosphere. The selection features over 300 brands, ranging from established names to newly discovered talents. At 81 the focus is on clothing and accessories, whereas at 77 and 98 the emphasis is on furniture and home accessories. The three venues frequently host special events.
