Guided Tour: Be shown around the LagunaB headquarters by its creative director

LagunaB opens its doors to welcome visitors for a tour of its headquarters in Venice, guided by Marcantonio Brandolini, the creative director, who will illustrate the vision and the projects of the company. Marcantonio, while developing the artistic identity of the company, is also very committed to building a truly sustainable business, through many specific plans that can have a positive impact on current and future generations. On this purpose, training new generations of glass masters, creating products that last, coexisting with the natural environment and maintaining carbon neutrality are crucial tasks.

LagunaB

Glassblowing

Reinterpreting glassmaking traditions for a sustainable futureLagunaB is a Venice-based glass company founded in 1994 by Marie Brandolini – the iconic countess well-known for her elegance, grace and culture – when she reinterpreted the “goto di furnace”, the drinking glass, by adding to it an unexpected artistic value, with ironic and coloured brightness. Marie had chosen glass as a privileged medium of expression. Reinterpreting traditions has always been part of the company approach, but since Marie’s son Marcantonio took over in 2016, LagunaB has made more pronounced steps toward becoming a sustainable business, guided by values that transcend aesthetics: to have a positive impact on current and future generations. LagunaB is thus committed to creating quality handmade products that last for generations, to training young glass masters, implementing sustainable distribution techniques, promoting transparency and maintaining carbon neutrality through specific projects.
