Wave Murano Glass

Glassblowing

Wave Murano Glass: when tradition meets innovationWave Murano Glass was born in January 2017 from Roberto Beltrami’s passion for glass. Roberto is the youngest glass Master in Murano, and with his passionate team he crafts bespoke artisanal glass objects in his workshop. He doesn’t have any family ties in Murano, but he managed to gain the skills of the glass Masters. Wave Murano Glass mission is to uphold the millenary tradition of glass on the island of Murano, while using technology to innovate this craft in a fast paced world. The firm is based in a building dating back to 1850, running five glass melting furnaces that burn 24/7, eleven months per year, at an average temperature of 1150 °C. In a few years, Wave Murano Glass has established collaborations with some of the most renewed luxury brands of furniture and lighting in the world. Thanks to their approach to glassmaking, the workshop has been chosen by artists, designers and architects for a bespoke and artistic glass production.
