A holistic workshop on woodcarving

1.5 hours Max 6 peopleFrom 25 euros per person

Located on the island of Santorini, Michael Arvanitis welcomes you to his gallery, Xylo Wood Design, for an exclusive woodcarving course. In a first theoretical part, the Greek sculptor will introduce you to the history of woodcarving in Greece and its link with Santorini. Although it is not a green island, the place has a real tradition in woodcarving. During the second, more practical part of the workshop, Michael will teach you some basic techniques of wood sculpting. Participants will have the chance to create their own objects, which they can bring home with them. The workshop will end with a presentation of Michael's work. For groups up to 3 people, the cost is 30 euros per person, and for groups of 4 to 6 people the cost is 25 euros per person.
