3 days Max 4 people750 EUR per personLiving between the UK and Poland, metalworker Tom Regula invites you on a weekend getaway to Poland, where you will not only learn to forge steel, but you will also be accommodated at his 100-year-old renovated farmhouse. You will learn to work with ancient steel and experience living in a traditional home of the Lemka highlanders. On day one, you will have lunch in the farmhouse or the gazebo and get acquainted with the history of ancient Polish steel dziwer as well as safety measures. On the second day, you will see a demonstration of forging and try it yourself during a 3-hour knife forging session. On the final day, you will finish your knife and take it home. During your stay, you can try other activities, such as horseback riding along forest trails, mushroom picking and fly fishing for additional fees. The price includes accommodation and meals.
