50 minutes Max 6 participantsFrom 6,50 euros per personTour the 24 State Rooms of the Eggenberg Palace with its original 17th and 18th century furniture, decorations and tapestries that used to be the residence of Imperial Governor Hans Ulrich von Eggenberg and his family. The rooms are arranged in a circle around the highlight, the early Baroque Planetary Room made of a cycle of paintings by the former court artist Hans Adam Weissenkircher, which functioned as the entrance hall for the select guests that had access to the State Apartments. Over 500 ceiling paintings depict ancient, biblical and modern worlds and a rare Japanese Folding Screen are some of the many riches you will discover. The tour is 50 minutes long and takes place every Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00. The tour costs 16 euros for adults, 6,50 euros for concessions and children under the age of 6 go free.
