Learn the art of tray painting

Master artisans will equip you with a real Zhostovo tray, which has been prepared for painting, and reveal some of the secrets of the famous Zhostovo bouquet. You will learn the Zhostovo signature art of mixing colours directly on the surface of the tray and the secrets of giving volume to the pattern. You will paint your tray using the finest squirrel brushes, giving it a personal touch and signing it. The artisans will then dry your tray in a special stove and cover it with the Zhostovo trademark lacquer. The finished tray can be collected two weeks after the class or you may request delivery. The experience includes a one-hour workshop, a visit to the museum and a live tray-painting demonstration. It costs 5,000 rubles per person for 1-2 people, or 4,000 rubles per person for 3-5 people.
