Participants are introduced to the history of smocking, which dates back to England in the Middle Ages. Ingrid Larssen explains how she discovered smocking and how she uses it in combination with other materials such as sea urchins and pearls to make jewellery and objects. She also talks about her inspiration, which comes from nature and traditional craft techniques. When participants have grasped the basic technique, they can enjoy creating their own piece of jewellery. This experience is for people aged 10 years and older. Materials included.
