A contemporary perspective on jewellery making
8 hours Max 2 peopleFrom 150 EUR per personJulia Obermaier is an experienced artisan, known for her experimental rather than traditional approach to jewellery making. She cuts larger stones into small pieces and then assembles them into new bodies. She invites everyone to her cosy atelier to explore her marvellous world of contemporary jewellery making. Throughout the workshop, students will engage with different techniques of gemstone cutting while in dialogue with the artisan. Since the number of participants is limited, there will be enough time and space for individual artistic exchange and to learn various approaches to the craft from Julia. The course can be arranged upon request. The fee for a single participant is 250 EUR including material, while for 2 participants it is 150 EUR each. The use of precious metals is charged separately.
