A day with vibrant colours and textiles

7 hours 2-4 people140 CHF per person

Spend a day immersed in the fantastic world of fabrics and colours learning the batik method, an ancient technique for dyeing reserve fabrics. After some basic explanations on the origin and technique of batik, you will experiment, create and play with various colour overlays. The hours pass quickly in a relaxing and peaceful environment, accompanied by advice and suggestions. During the course, after an initial sample on cotton, two other batiks will be created on 50 x 50 cm fabrics: one in cotton and one in silk. At the end of the day, thanks to your imagination and creativity, you will have crafted three unique fabrics with the batik technique. The cost includes materials.
