A deep-dive into glassblowing

From 1 hour 1 personFrom 150 euros per hour

Glass is a complex, particular material that requires a great deal of craftsmanship and technical knowledge. At the workshop led by Remigijus Kriukas, a glass artist with more than 40 years of experience, you will learn about hot and living glass and what you need to work with it. With Remigiju’s help, you will be able to blow glass and learn to apply techniques, such as turning, core-forming and stretching the glass, as well as how to form glass with a wet newspaper or a wooden shaper. An exciting moment will be the introduction of colour into your piece. The finished artefacts are then toughened and sanded and can be shipped for a separate fee.
