Ceramic experiments with a master
2-4 October 2020 Max 10 participants265 euros per person + material costsRenowned ceramicist Monika Debus invites you to experiment in her beautiful workshop in Höhr-Grenzhausen, the home of German ceramics. Participants can try out different techniques for surface design on clay plates. Afterwards, the plates are cut, bent or broken and reassembled in order to create new shapes and surfaces. Two or three of the resulting works can be handed in for firing in a salt kiln, a unique opportunity. In total, the session will last approximately 24 hours spread over three days, allowing participants the time to create unique ceramic works. It takes place each year in March and October and is bookable on a first come, first served basis.
