An introduction to tambour embroidery

16 hours Max 10 people8,000 rubles per person

Bring patience and optimism with you to this masterclass, where you will learn the meticulous craft of tambour embroidery. This technique, which emerged in France in the early 19th century, involves decorating a fine tulle cloth with chain stitch. It is often referred to as embroidered net lace. In these beginner lessons you will go through all stages of the creative process, from leaning to use a tambour hook and trying your hand at decorative chain stitch to completing your own small piece of embroidery. The class consists of two eight-hour sessions. Please contact Nadya in advance to choose convenient days. By appointment only.
